Fantastic Port!

Easily down, ane of my favorite FF games and it yet holds up. Touch screen control very good, although I'll grant that sometimes it's non perfectly precise but I don't think that'southward to do with the game simply more the nature of touchscreen control in general. I would definitely advise anyone with thick fingers to utilise a stylus. The merely thing that keeps me from giving this a five star review is a glitch with the Belias Tor map. Every now and over again, you'll be faced with fighting a large pack of chocobos and without neglect the instant I input an action after moving a unit, the game crashes. Also the automobile save organisation is a little weird. Information technology's been a saving grace when a fight goes pear shaped just I'm not a fan of being given the option to start a paused game when returning to a saved game because the paused game is always in a land before the hard save and that's messed me up a few times before I understood what was up.

Cheers for updating to 64bit iOS xi compatibility!!

Cheers Square Enix for the timely update. I have raised my rating from i-4 stars!! Quick salvage was awesome, if that can be fixed too, all the way upwardly to v stars~ I was really worried that y'all'd have a more "business minded" approach to fixing this game if at all. Kudos for you for making the customer/gamer first. :)

This game is bang-up and I love coming back to it fourth dimension and fourth dimension once more... but if it is not updated to 64bit, in the next iOS update whether it's iOS ten.3.2 or 11 we volition not be able to continue playing. Please don't release a whole new version and brand united states of america pay for it over again too. This game was expensive equally it is. Release an update, set up some bugs and my rating will go support to 5 stars. Square-Enix, yous're at present able to answer. Information technology would be neat to hear if yous'll exist continuing to support this astonishing game. Please don't go out your die hard fans in the grit.

This was my favorite on PS1

I waited and waited for it to come down in cost because it was my favorite ps game and I lost the disc. I concord with people who complain that information technology'due south not optimized for the iPhone. I don't have an iPad and it is a bit small-scale for me to read on my phone. That seems like an easy fix via settings. Simply y'all cannot change the font size. I'm also non a huge fan of the bear on controls as they are and so small I oft striking the incorrect thing and that can be frustrating. But my biggest issue is that the enemies' battle speed is way as well fast for me to follow. There is no fashion to slow it down. I would upgrade my rating if nosotros could adjust that in the settings considering I like to meet what'due south happening on the battlefield. If you liked the original, yous'll like this port, and these little annoyances will probably not bother you. However, I can't give this love game more than than 3 stars due to the difficulty in playing due to the things I mentioned. On sale, it's ok—I wouldn't pay $14 for it.
